About the project
The government client required evaluations of multiple water infrastructure projects as part of a planned assessment of project proposals and opportunities identified in the State Infrastructure Plan as part of Maturing the Infrastructure Pipeline programme.
BDR evaluated multiple water infrastructure project opportunities as identified in the State Infrastructure Plan for the client.
That involved extensive engagement with the project proponents, and key stakeholders across multiple government departments, all in order to evaluate the project opportunities against the client’s guidelines to provide qualitative and quantitative assessment outcomes.
In addition to engagement with multiple stakeholders, including at and / or from regional locations throughout most of Queensland, BDR Projects undertook considerable research in respect of particular project aspects including from technical, economic and feasibility perspectives.
This engagement and research culminated in reporting for each project considered and delivery and presentation of reports to the client. The reports compiled included consideration of multiple aspects including alignment with government policy and priorities, financial considerations, barriers to progression, alternative solutions, and recommendations for progression.
BDR Projects applied high standards of professionalism and several of its expert water industry personnel to complete the extensive stakeholder engagement, research, and report preparation requirements for evaluation of multiple water infrastructure project opportunities.
The assessment process took place within fixed time and cost requirements, and all aspects were completed to full satisfaction of all client requirements.
At completion, BDR Projects provided and presented high standard reporting deliverables to enable well prioritised further consideration and progression of water infrastructure requirements throughout regional Queensland.
